George Webb – Founder & CEO
I started buying rental houses in 1990. We’ve grown a lot since then! I now split my time about evenly between strategy and operations on over 25 active real estate projects. I’ve been building our portfolio ever since that first house back in 1990, serving as the sole or principal investor in over 50 Seattle area real estate projects, (we currently have over 25). I usually have a significant personal financial position in our projects. I double majored at Stanford (History & Electrical Engineering if you are curious) and then did a stint at Microsoft in several entrepreneurial groups before taking the ultimate entrepreneurial plunge and founding Stratford. I’ve never looked back since leaving the corporate world – I love creating and re-creating things, whether it’s a company or a building or myself! I live in Shoreline with my wonderful wife and 4 kids. I’ve served as Finance Chair and Board Chair at the Evergreen School and also co-founded a Seattle area tech startup where I still serve on the Board. I love to travel off the beaten track, most recently on trips to China, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Indonesia, Alaska, Greece, & Eastern Europe.
Julie Medina – Regional Rehab Manager & Purchasing Manager
Julie oversees property management for our South Sound & Kitsap County properties. Her responsibilities include oversight of leasing, operations, property maintenance and tenant relations. Along with her great team of property managers and maintenance staff, Julie works hard to ensure her properties are full of satisfied residents and operate effectively and efficiently. Julie joined Stratford in 2002 as a maintenance technician and has rocked every job she’s had since. She is currently our longest serving employee.
Heather Gehner – Regional Property Manager & Marketing Manager
Heather brings over 20 years management experience to our team. She oversees property management for all Stratford properties. Her responsibilities include oversight of leasing, operations, property maintenance and tenant relations. Along with her great team of property managers and maintenance staff, she works hard to ensure her properties are full of satisfied residents and operate effectively and efficiently. Heather loves to keep herself busy in her personal time, working on her family’s hobby farm rescuing farm animals with her husband, 10 kids, and countless foster teens.
Stephen Hughes – Construction Manager
Steve oversees all vertical construction activity under the auspices of Catalyst Professional Resources, which he founded in 2001 after a nearly 30 year career as a well regarded design/build general contractor. Steve’s construction background began at age seven working side-by-side with his Dad, uncle and grandfather on their developments, and he acquired their dedication and work ethic. He founded his own construction company at age 22, expanding to develop custom and spec homes, apartment buildings, office buildings and condominiums. Steve prides himself on his hand-on and solutions-driven approach to managing large-scale construction projects.
Jennifer Rodvold – Accounting Manager
Jennifer oversees accounting and financial reporting for the all properties and operating companies, including all property management, development, and construction transactions.
Karen Nierescher – Controller
Karen is responsible for all accounting activity and reporting. She supervises all accounting staff. Bringing decades of experience and leadership to the accounting team.
Kilder Diaz – Rehab Supervisor
Kilder supervises a hard-working team of rehab specialist.
Mario Garcia Sr. – Plumbing Division Lead
Mario oversees plumbing on our rehab projects.
Jeff Hilde – Head of Maintenance
Jeff oversees all maintenance staff to ensure our units are in top shape.
Tia Yellow Calf Denoyer – Property Manager
Tia manages properties in Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Heidi Gearon – Property Manager
Heidi manages properties in south King and north Pierce counties.
Jialmer Montes – Construction Supervisor
Jialmer is the site supervisor for multiple vertical construction projects.
Margaret Horton – Virtual Office Manager
We don’t meet regularly at our office building in Edmonds, but Margaret keeps the virtual “office” running smoothly every day, including onboarding new employees, processing all inbound information flows, organizing information, and supporting the CEO and other managers in many ways to get their demanding jobs done.
