The Stratford Company's current investment strategy is centered in the Puget Sound region with a primary focus on three core businesses:
General Development
Unlocking value by opportunistically pursuing market inefficiencies and strategically acquiring underperforming assets. Involves both new development and the repositioning of existing assets to create/add value (i.e., converting from one use to another).
Master Planned Developments
Creating and executing a vision for multi-use, multi-parcel projects involving urban redevelopment or new development of residential and mixed use properties, transit-oriented developments and public/private partnerships with up-and-coming, visionary cities.
Senior Housing
Specializing in independent, assisted, and dementia care or a combination thereof by strategically targeting prime locations with optimal demographics. Involves acquiring and improving existing assets, developing new assets to address an existing trough in senior housing supply, and leveraging our unique in-house senior housing expertise.
Our federated approach brings together proven expertise and leadership in development, construction, architecture & design, site selection, marketing, financing, project management, senior housing and property management. This integrated platform approach enables efficiency, control and agility (cost, time and quality) across our project portfolio, minimizing risk and maximizing returns on each project.
